Tent Security Advice for those who are attending YNOT Festival

With YNOT Festival starting from today at Pikehall in Derbyshire, the Safer Neighbourhood Team would like to take the time and remind, festival goers who are camping etc of the following Crime Prevention advice in relation to tent security.

• Consider putting a tent peg through the zip on the inside of your tent when sleeping.

• Keep valuables items with you or inside your sleeping bag at night.

• Take a money belt that you can keep with you at all times.

• Don’t leave anything valuable inside you tent and always take valuable items along with you.

If you see anyone acting suspiciously, please report it to any security or organisers on the site who can then make enquiries and contact the police.
